Lakeland, FL – a Town with History

Founded in 1885, Lakeland has a great history, including 7 historic districts and Florida Southern College. Florida Southern is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as being the largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. Recently around Florida Southern, the South Lake Morton district has gone through quite a few renovations, and it is a charming area to walk or drive through. One area that we really like is the Dixieland historic district. Although the renovations aren’t as complete as Lake Morton, it is starting to see some improvements. We want to be a part of this, and that is why we buy houses in Dixieland specifically.

My house isn’t in Dixieland, are you still buying houses in the rest of Polk County?
